How Attend protects your school's data
Secure authentication
Accounts are authenticated through a dedicated identity provider, not custom-built password handling. Staff members are invited by email and set their own credentials before ever accessing a school’s data.
Encrypted connections
All traffic between your browser and Attend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), including every request made while taking attendance.
Role-based permissions
Every account has a role — School Owner, School Admin, Lead Guide, Assistant, or Parent — and each role’s permissions are enforced on every action, not just hidden in the interface.
Data isolation
Each school’s data is scoped to that school at the database level. A Guide or administrator at one school cannot see another school’s Children, Staff, or attendance records.
Privacy-first approach
Attend collects the information needed to run attendance and enrollment for your school, and nothing beyond that. See our Privacy Policy for what is collected and why.
